DEFENCE PROJECT

In the last 20 years, Ashburner Francis has delivered multiple Living in Accommodation Defence projects.

The Lavarack Barracks precinct, located in Townsville, consists of 1024 single bed units for officers, senior non-coms and soldiers in three distinct areas at Lavarack. The works included electrical power, lighting in rooms, the general precinct and roads, and the installation of 10 new transformers, ring main units, MSBs, protection devices and cabling (over 6,000 m of HV cable was installed). The total project cost was approximately $200 million.
